We live in a democratic world - for the most part and I think if even I say/write something out of line - well - let me know - PLEASE. Here we can post about other charities to support - I know several of the Moms donate books or bears or time or their walking energy to fundraisers - I don't object to that. I will NOT even object to anyone posting that it is their CHERUBS birthday or angel day and they wish we would donate to CHERUBS. What Dawn T started is amazing and it drew us all together - but I have had a problem with the way things are going and the founder's tight rein on everything for quite some time. I never posted to the listservs about my suspicions, my concerns or my paranoia on where donations were going. I kept my mouth shut. (Some of you will think to yourselves - now that is very good for Elizabeth - the one who just blurts it all out to heck with everyone!) When the termination issue came up again on the Main Listserv - I had it. It was the straw that broke the camels back. It is an issue that has raised its head and made many people write ugly things or think ugly thoughts - no one should question anyone for their choice of medical care for their children - even those that choose to not have their children have immunizations for religious reasons - they are their children and I hope that all of us that do immunize our children are protecting their kids too. One could argue that some of the surviving CDH children - not all - who die later - were they not just prolonging the inevitable? And it could be considered crule in some aspects - BUT why judge that. We are not here to judge - we are here because we lost our precious children and that is devastating on its own. Off my soap box - if anyone really wants to know the nitty gritty details of my being banned from CHERUBS - or would like copies of the three letters that funders who wanted to donate - I will be glad to let you know these details. (I haven't scanned the letters yet, so I might need a few weeks.) Just email me off the listserv and I will give you my explanation - if you disagree with me - if you think I'm horrid - let me know - but I promise - you will still be my friend - I will still love your angel - almost as much as you do. We can disagree and still be friends. Afterall, we all have family that we can't get away from and they are worse than some of the rude things I have done in my life. Yes, rude. I've been wrong, I'm not without fault. I have a temper - where do you think Miss Cecilia got it from, I have my own ideas - I'm a clean freak and I can be stubborn. (My own mother says that under stubborn in Websters is my name and picture - again, where do you think Cecilia got it from?)
