Harder than we thought - right? Patience - it will come to us. I'm a strong believer in things that are to be happen - sometimes not just bad things but great things too. I will also be setting up an appointment this week through a Legal Aide Society we have in the area - they can refer us to someone free or for very little money - like $20 - I will pay who would have experience in the area. I have an attorney but she doesn't specialize in non profit law and such and suggested I go the Legal Aide route. (We also have UVA Law School, Darden Business School and I know I could "consult" with those experts too on issues.) I know we don't have a name yet but I'm a bit perplexed about the IRS filing AND the incorporation - does this need to be done together, does it need to done separately? Knowing this info before helps. As for NAME - I would really hope that it could be something that when someone serfs the net - and inputs CDH or Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia - it POPS up FIRST. Perhaps Natalie and Rick have some insight on how that works.
