I am Elise and my husband, Joe and I have been married for 10 years and we now have just Noah who is now 3 years old. We were dianoised late, they believe he herniated between 25 and 30 weeks. We were blessed to be living in Charlottesville, Virginia - and we transferred all care to UVA Medical Center. Noah is a little smaller than most boys his age, he has some oral aversions with others near his mouth but he will put things to his mouth. He does have reflux which we are treating but is happy and active! Thankfully, she has no major problems now...at least nothing that I consider major. (Glasses, nightly medicine for reflux, poor appetite) I feel so blessed. My heart has just recently been stirred again in this area to reach out to other families whose lives have been turned upside down by CDH. May I never forget. I look forward to meeting all of you.
