What To Pack For The Birth Of Your Cherub
Every new member of CHERUBS who is expecting will receive a CDH HOPE Totebag.
If you are not a member or don't have time to wait for a totebag, here
is a list of what you should pack to bring with you.
Members should also take note of this list as we do not provide
everything:

- A sturdy totebag or backpack
- CDH Baby Book or Parent Reference Guide
- A journal
- Disposible camera or digital camera
- Extra film / memory chip and batteries
- Writing pen
- A notebook to jot down questions, information
- Phone card, cell phone or change
- List of contact information for your family and friends
- Chapstick
- Bottle of water (nursing mothers must stay hydrated!)
- Breast pump equipment
- Nursing pads

<>>- Personal care items
- Vitamins (with doctors permission)
- Prescribed medications
- Pain reliever such as Tylenol, etc (with doctors permission)
- Hand sanitizer
- Hand lotion
- A good book
- An iPod or other music device
- Your CHERUBS Representative or Hospital Angel's contact information
<> For Baby:>
- Name sign for you baby's hospital bed
- A photo of your family for the baby's bed
- A child's book
- A baby blanket from home
- Baby booties
- Baby hat
- Chapstick
Because CDH babies are very unpredictable, you never know when / if you
made need the following so keep them by the bed, in your car or with
you. It is not being "negative" to be prepared.
Many parents have regretted not having these things - none have
regretted having them and not needing them.
